“We adopted Bandit, our yellow lab mix puppy, from a shelter when he was four months old. We were immediately drawn to his enthusiastic and good natured personality, but knew early on that finding a training environment where he could socialize with other puppies as well as learn all of the basic obedience commands a young dog needs. After the first class Bandit had formed an immediate bond with Charlotte and we also had the opportunity to meet her two wondefully trained dogs Zeus and Toluca, giving us a example of her training technique, and what we might be able to expect down the road with out dog. Each week we had a breakthrough with Bandit, whether it was learning not to jump up when greeting a stranger or learning to come when called. Charlotte’s style of training really focuses on building a foundation through repetition, but in a way that is fun and stimulating for both the dogs and owners. After completing the puppy course we were thrilled with the progress we had made together, and will continued our training with her in the next course basic obedience.
